Terms and conditions

Last updated · 29 September 2026

This document sets out the terms for using transylvania-steakhouse.ro and its online booking service. By using the site, you confirm that you have read and accept these terms. They do not limit in any way the rights you have by law as a consumer.

2. What the site offers

The site presents the Transylvania Steakhouse restaurant and grocery: the menu, prices, allergen information, blog articles and opening hours. You can also send a booking request for a table.

The site is not an online shop. No products are sold, no payments are taken and no distance contracts are concluded through it. Ordering and payment happen only at the restaurant or in the grocery.

3. Online bookings

3.1 How it works

The form sends a request, not a confirmed booking. The booking is final once we contact you to confirm it.

  • We take bookings between 12:00 and 21:00, within the restaurant's opening hours.
  • For groups of more than 10 people, please call us on +40 771 240 740.
  • We may decline a request if no tables are available at the time you asked for.
  • To cancel or change a booking, please call the same number.

3.2 Form data

We ask for your name, phone number, date, time and number of guests. The "Notes" field is optional. If you mention allergies or dietary restrictions there, this is health data, and we use it only to prepare your meal safely. See the Privacy policy.

3.3 Late arrival and no-shows

If you can't make it, please let us know. We hold the table for 20 minutes after the agreed time, after which we may give it to other guests.

4. Menu, prices and allergens

  • Prices are in Romanian lei (RON) and include VAT.
  • The online menu is for information only. Availability depends on the day's stock. The valid price is the one on the restaurant's menu at the time you order.
  • For dry-aged beef, the weight shown is raw weight and varies from piece to piece. The final price is set on the scale.
  • Allergens are listed in line with Regulation (EU) No 1169/2011. All dishes are prepared in the same kitchen, so traces of allergens may always be present. If you have a severe allergy, please tell our staff before ordering.
  • Nutritional values marked as "estimated" are calculated from the recipe, with a margin of about ±10%.

5. Leftovers

Under Romanian Law no. 217/2016 on reducing food waste, you can take home, at no extra cost, any food you don't finish. Just ask our staff for a container.

6. Copyright

The texts, photos, illustrations, logo and structure of this site belong to Transilvania Steakhouse S.R.L. or are used with the authors' consent. You may quote and share blog articles, provided you credit the source and link to the original page. Commercial use without our written consent is prohibited.

7. Liability

We do our best to keep the information on the site accurate and up to date, but mistakes can happen. We are not liable for:

  • temporary interruptions of the site for technical or maintenance reasons;
  • the content of external sites we link to.

These limits do not apply where the law does not allow liability towards consumers to be limited.

8. Complaints and consumer protection

If something went wrong, write to us at dragos.mihaescu@icloud.com or call +40 771 240 740. We reply within 30 days.

You can also contact the Romanian National Authority for Consumer Protection (ANPC), B-dul Aviatorilor nr. 72, sector 1, Bucharest:

You may also use alternative dispute resolution (ADR), under Government Ordinance no. 38/2015. Details: anpc.ro/sal.

The EU online dispute resolution (ODR) platform was closed on 20 July 2025 by Regulation (EU) 2024/3228, so we no longer link to it.

9. Changes

We may update these terms. The version in force is the one published on this page, with the date of the last update shown at the top.

10. Governing law

These terms are governed by Romanian law. Disputes we cannot settle amicably go to the competent courts in Romania. As a consumer, you may also rely on the mandatory rules of your country of residence and bring a claim before the courts there.
